Nadim, you never had a loss because you never sold your stock.
Be a man and stop ranting over your frailties. Others were calling the
truth while you are in denial. The trouble in all those countries that
allow the raping of the masses by corrupt officials and businessmen is
their greed, not the actions of those that expose their corruption.

Nadim- Religion or for that matter any other associated thing plays no role in my calls-I short stocks and indexes every other day when opportunity comes across but I have greatest respect for human beings first and than anything else- for me God taught me to love every fellowo human being and shorts are a part of it yes what they don't understand is that cost of equity capital has declined and value of intangible capital asets have increased dramatically. So don't hate shorts love them but skim money from them as far as injunctions of Quran please keep religion out of markets the last thing we need on this thread is religiuos injunction- anyway thanks but I will request you not to raise these issues any further here- we are worldly people and this thread is a secular thread.

Nadim- let me tell you fanaticism is one thing I cannot stand and when I face arrogance and fanaticism I take them on- I did that in Kuwait under Iraqi ocupation I can do that here in Pakistan where I can be killed any day for being so vocal about my choices of secular believe but I trade in my own name - get published in my own name- run a thread in my name- I am an entity not a 'nameless speck of words in cyberspace' therefore with all my courage and fortitude I will not condone 'hatred' same I will beg of you.

>>I prayed to GOD to wipe all the shorts, clean them out, take away all of their money as HE did to Qaroon <<

Congratulations on your pointless post.
Did you know the long shares that you buy are sometimes sold short to you by your broker which you may otherwise not be able to buy?

Since Sep. the shorts have been having there way and had no mercy.

So, it is the shorts, who were out numbered 98 to 2 by the bulls, who did all the damage! Thanks for letting us know. -g-

Nadim, WOW, that post was WAY OUT THERE. God does not personally interfere in the personal financial mechanisms of man. Gods will be done ANY ole way it turns out. BTW, shorts are an integral part of the market. It is precisely the daily battles between bears and bulls (shorts and longs), that MAKE A MARKET! Just because it went against you, is no reason to whine and bring God into the picture. If you personally can't stand the heat of the losses, you shouldn't be playing the market in the way you're doing. Every decision made (buy and sell), turns out right for one and wrong for the other. So.... next time you think God is punishing, or blessing you, remember there is the opposite side of the trade getting the opposite results. Or looking at it from another angle, maybe God had something
HE wanted you to learn :-)

Nadim <<....When DELL went to 67, INTC 68, ASND 22, ..... I couldn't take the pressure... I couldn't take the pain.... I wanted to call my broker many times and get it over with.... but for a second, a thought came across my mind, I knew what the game was.... they want you to get sick of your stocks and dump them to help there cause. A dear friend of mine couldn't take it and he got wiped out.
Now DELL @ 105, INTC 86 ASND 30 and I feel much better.
And GOD says in the QURAN, " and they planed and some of their plans would erase mountains" , " and they plan and GOD is planning for them and GOD is the best planner"
The shorts were corrupting, planning, now GOD's plan is going to go through them.
For the past three months, After each prayer, I pray to GOD to wipe out all the shorts. by the prophet peace be upon him "Three where prayers would not be rejected, a person whose fasting when he breaks his fast, a traveler until he returns, and an oppressed person where the door of heavens will open to his prayer"
I prayed to GOD to wipe all the shorts, clean them out, take away all of their money as HE did to Qaroon ( in Quran: where the earth swallowed him and his treasures ) and many other corrupt people. And as GOD set the physical laws ( a fire burns, gravity law... ) HE also set laws for people, socities and nations. ( where is the soviet union, where is the persian empire, where is the roman empire...)
The shorts will get hit and will get hit hard. One of those days, Soros and others will be without money to corrupt other nations. This is what GOD promised us in the QURAN about such people and time will tell. and this is as true as TA
I am always thankful to GOD, but when this does happen I will prostrate to GOD for HE is JUST...>>

I grew up in Africa amongst two contrasting cultures. One culture simply did not understand the mechanisms and systems used by the other. This went both ways. Many dislocations and problems resulted. Each side tended to drag in irrelevant stuff from their own culture to judge the other. One worker thought he understood our tractor and jumped on and hit the gas .... never knew anything about brakes ... crunch! We made similar mistakes in viewing aspects of their culture for failure to understand their whole culture.

Clearly you are in the same position and have only grasped a part of what a free market is. Oil goes up, oil goes down, land goes up, land goes down, depending on demand and supply. Going long is making a bet the price will go up, going short is making a bet a price will go down. Whether you want to buy or sell should depend on what your needs, your knowledge, your resources, and your hunches might be. Selling first and buying to replace .... that is simply a timing distinction and I doubt any god cares a hoot which comes first. If you fail to understand the game, or think a part of it is tempting the wrath of your god, you should not be playing the game ... you may incur guilt by association. One day my broker might lend me your stock for a short sale and thereby contaminate you in the eyes of your god.

Sorry to sound so harsh, but god plays no sides in a free market. If so all wealth would be in the hands of his chosen believers ... and we would know whether Jews, Christians, Muslims or Buddhists were really the chosen people. Any market contaminated with a political/religious bias is not a free market.

Don't mind me. Feel free to play in our free markets and I hope you prosper. You will do better if you understand the whole game.
