You are absolutley right! AppleRecon which cost $400+ for their crap a year has yet to get things right. When will people stop listening to their BS. I think we should start a campaign of listing all the wrong moves AppleRecon has made, then maybe people won't pay their ludicrous prices. At least MacOS Rumors is free and therefore is interesting reading, whereas the Recon crap indicates stock purchases/sales on their misinformation! There should be a law against their hype and speculation.

If I may make a suggestion. I believe most of the issues you discussed in your post originated from Apple Recon (or some such "rumor" site).

Scott,

This may or may not be true, I'm not sure. However, what I posted was based almost entirely on posts, including links to news articles, placed on this board by others. Nothing I posted came directly from Apple Recon. Even the Mac OS Rumors comment was iffy as to whether there would be an announcement.

My only original thought in the post was the Jobs doesn't usually announce items of interest to employees without assuring that the same information is given to the general public. I still feel that he may have had some 'important' announcement that fell by the wayside, just like in November.

One way or another, the extent to which Apple does or does not constantly remind wall street and the press of its recovery and forward momentum will have a significant impact on the price of this stock. If, whether through rumor or fact, the press gets the impression that Apple is not continuing its recovery, this stock will again plummet.
