What if all are wrong about the trajectories of Covid and vaccines? Then, I think the criticisms posted here re "the response" thus far... will prove all the more critical... Preparedness... should mean ample supplies of basic vitamins A, C, D and E... to a tolerable surplus more than only to avoid deficiency... zinc and elderberry... and, of course, laying in supplies of N100 masks for yourself and those you care about... before others figure out those are the only masks that actually work. Other preventives discussed... like quercitin, allicin (garlic), berberine, the quinine related... not to be ignored. But, really, its the preventive drugs that are the issue, systemically. Hydroxychloroquine, Remdesivir, Ivermectin, etc. ? Do they work as well against new variants... or are the labs busy churning out new variants that are designed to be resistant to them ? (Ie., only idiots still trust government officials "mean well".) And, of course, a proper target for Coronavirus vaccine development was not found until mid summer last year... so it should be mid summer this year before actually useful, safe, and effective vaccines... with broad multi-variant protective function... begin making their way to market... assuming they are allowed to ? Market impacts not the first focus you should have in addressing the (ongoing) risks of an emerging new era of bio-warfare... whether "natural" in origin or not. But, the market impacts... ? Likely not that much more than what we have right now... re the real economy ? We're already practiced in the means of resistance. Will officialdom FAIL US AGAIN in not taking proper steps when it still matters ? Will they repeat the same stupid politicization of (stupid, useless) masks and (bad vs good) medicine as last time... reinforcing the message that they're all paid liars ? My guess is... the worst stupidity of the last cycle likely to be better avoided in a repeat... variant specific treatment likely to forestall expanded mortality in the developed world, at least... But, if you need a reason to crash the market, again, without the blame being placed on the obvious stupidity of policy makers... there ya go...
