money was an important part of the plan to move
South Korea forward on the road to financial stability.


Yes, and isn't it interesting that Smith Barney and Goldman, Sachs have been retained to issue those new bonds. Doesn't it make you feel good that your tax dollars are helping out Mr. Rubin's old buddies?

the New York banks would benefit from participation in restructuring in
