Not Julie Child - It was the Cliff, the postman in 'Cheers', in the episode when he appeared on 'Jeopardy'. He had taken an insurmountable lead going into Final Jeopary and instead of betting nothing, he bet his whole stake. Alex Trebec asked a difficult question about what three people had in common. And, Cliff's answer was 'Name three people who have never been in my kitchen'. Needless to say he didn't win Jeopardy in this classic episode where some of the early categories had been: US postal service, beer, mommie's boys, etc. When the college championships were held the next year, the contestant from GA TECH (my alma mater) had an insurmountable lead in the semi-finals and bet $1.00 in Final Jeopardy and gave the same answer.
