At the very least you were rationalizing payment of money through government as an intermediary. No, I wasn't. can you in a sentence or two form a cogent explanation of what exactly you think is due descendants of slaves if not money? I repeated my first two steps just two posts ago. I think they were pretty cogent. It's like talking to a wall. The first rule of holes is that, if you find yourself in one, quit digging. Presumably then there would be sufficient good will to enable more clarity about what else. Being not very sanguine about even the cessation of digging, I haven't given it much thought. Generally, I do think the country owes them a more perfect union, one that their ancestors could smile about.
