The worst case scenario is that the entire everglades food chain collapses causing billions in tourism and fishing economic loses. Oh, no... the worst case scenario is vastly worse than that... even if all you do is consider... "How do you contain the gene to the Everglades" ? I won't try to reinvent the discussion, here, as I've addressed this previously elsewhere... back when they first proposed and used this tool as a means of combating the bugs... which "happened" (?) to be "coincident with" the outbreak of the ZIKA virus...
