Just so I understand it (I've never used a FireStick) the Fire Stick 4K will connect to the home wifi, and then receive YouTube TV over the home wifi, and broadcast it into the TV?

Sounds about perfect.

Is this intended to give non-Smart TVs the ability to stream the various services, something like that? Sorta like google chromecast, but the key software is all in the Fire Stick rather than the broadcasting device as it must be with Chromecast?
