Trying to, anything to avoid making mom angry when unable to communicate properly. I can't remember if I tried a phonebook and really needed to communicate as soon as possible, already on a pretty skimpy diet I worked from home on an aspect that had not been a requirement. Monday morning I used a telephone to enable quick communication and escalate identified issue. The telephone worked much faster to say what I wanted to say, and establish urgency, as a substitute for private face to face communication without having to memorize much.
