<< man accused of murdering a doctor and her daughter now accepts another person killed them rather than the supernatural spirits he had claimed were responsible, a court has heard.>>

Looks like relevant information for the jury to consider.

Just to say, my neighbours in my previous accommodation were immigrants, first generation, any they are probably more culturally "English" than a lot of English people.

In fact my grand parents town, Birmingham, has a number of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation immigrants and I had some of them as lodgers over the years.

Right "Brummies’", all of them ! Sure they have their unique "culture" and Identify as such, but I know a Brummie when I see one, and listen to one too.

I think the ground one lives on has an effect on the way we live and maybe it creates accents too. Just a thought -g-

As far as immigration policy goes though the English vs Scottish immigration policy. The English one is a lot more restrictive then the Scottish one. It reflects reality. England has a population of 55 odd million, and Scoland about 10 million. Both are land masses in sinilar sizes.

I like open spaces with low population densities.. Some are happy in cities. I like to visit cities now and again, but that is as far as it goes.

A nice picture, they look so happy, and of course a terrible and sad story.

The harder you push em down the faster they comeback up. A well known natural phenomena.

Just saying.

A look at the UK's new health secretary.

He was raking in $3m a year before he decided to get into serious politics.

Sajid Javid - Wikipedia

"is earnings at Deutsche Bank would have been roughly £3,000,000 a year at the time he left [29] and the Evening Standard once estimated his career change would have required him to take a 98% pay cut."

&

"In 2021, Javid revealed he was rejected early in his political career by a Conservative Association to be their candidate because of his religion and that an Association Chairman has explained: "some members didn't think locals would vote for a Muslim to be their MP".

I don't like the guy or anything.... he is a Tory, but he is the new guy in charge of the UK's health. Just wondering if he is smart enough to let go of the bs we have had to endure for the last year or so.

He is a supporter of the UK's immigration policy in England.
