Occam's Razor says... it came out of the lab in Wuhan... natural origin "extraordinarily" unlikely... requiring an insane series of improbable events... for which there is zero evidence its even possible, with no viable origin found... versus a series of single steps from known origins that lead to linear causality... for which there is more than evidence... but proofs that each of those necessary steps occurred. It just not close. That other labs also have safety issues... and are even shut down because of it... not an argument validating a likelihood they were the origin... of anything. That they were shutdown... when they should have been... obviously a good thing. That they had the need... not a good thing.... but, otherwise, has no other meaning. Labs that are shutdown for violating safety protocols... that aren't doing gain of function work... that don't have access to the bats with the weird bat viruses, and hang out in bat caves... etc., etc. stretches credulity. It stretches credulity that a bat from a cave flew to Wuhan and transmitted the virus to a human... but, the same bat also did not fly to New York ? The wires quickly get crossed when the objections raised in efforts to deny the obvious... raise every possible objection that can be dreamed up... not caring about reason or consistency. The timing of the origin of that effort also... show it to be an obvious propaganda ploy with a political driver... originating in a political response to other events... and so fails in making the points it hopes to make... The main impact is to deflect attention from those bits that are a problem.... to silly stuff... only making it obvious that China is not serious about addressing the problem... that needs addressing. But, I have no problem at all in thinking its stupid for anyone to put those sorts of labs... above ground... or within a thousand miles of a city... And, that's a much bigger problem here in the U.S. and in Europe, still... than it is in China... And, the learning curve still appears FLAT... ? How did the Delta... and now the Delta +... get spread around the world ? Nothing has been learned ? And, nothing will be... because that's how "they" want it ?
