Bingo. Sorry if this is old news to some, but I was unaware of it.

Relative humidity of 40-60% in buildings will reduce respiratory infections and save lives. | 40to60RH

In the USA, on the East Coast AC in the summer was vital, and hunidifiers in the winter.

So... Boris neglected to tell me this.

I want my taxes back ! -g-

<<will protect you from smoke... the stinky perfume that lady in the grocery is wearing... and most allergens... as well as viruses.>>

A fair enough comment. You are right.

At the same time, I am reluctant to highlight the use of masks when other stuff is more important. -BG-

As an Engineer, by force of nature, I had to be always open to facts and theories that just blew away my "footing" away as it were, in my understanding of a problem or issue.

I just relistened to Professor Gordon Luc's remarks from minutes 2 to 12 mins on the video posted earlier.

Message 33375769

I will probably listen to it again a few more times, and search more on the "4060RH" issue. Maybe I got that wrong, but I am going to check that subject thoroughly as it looks to be relavent.

"The viruses were there, but people were not being infected"

Relative humidity looks to be maybe crucial.

I think Professor Gordon Lauc is turning out to be a very Kool Croation Cat.

A crucially cool croation cat. "cccc".
I always felt relative humidity was crucial having prior experience outside of the cave, I did not know it could get as high as it did. After that I felt my initial humidity requirements were inadequate and needed to increase anyway to enable the humidity load required for alignment and loading of the Canadian Shield. Managements assessment of the need to have the lines walked and reported was available on the field. The roadmap also showed support for the field.
