Big problem = racial reparations. The Barbary and Islamic slave sellers/buyers/captive takers should send terabucks to English descendants for all the slaves taken. And Maoris should pay big heaps to English for killing and eating Captain Cook in Hawaii. And killing and eating swarms around Aotearoa-Zimbabwe. And Germans, French, Ukrainians and Spanish and many others should pay Jewish descendants for pogroms, theft and genocide. Japan should pay bigly to me, China and China/Mongolia pay Bigly for Genghis mass marauding across Asia to Europe for mass murder. Africans should pay each other with megaloot for eternal killing. And let's reinstate Versailles reparations. Don't forget Cortez and the genocidal invasion South of the border = poor little Aztecs and Incas. Islamic jihad mass killed and enslaved hordes from the Atlantic to Philippines, into China, up into Russia, Europe and down into Africa. And on and on we go. Mad stuff. George Floyd should have been executed for his first armed robbery. He shouldn't be a lever for reparations because police bungled his drugged out arrest. It was not murder. Life everywhere was Malthusian, tribal, genocidal, alpha male, conquering, harsh, brutish and short for most people. The great and glorious British Empire including USA brought fantastic civilisation and prosperity to umpty billion and continues to do so. USA and rest of world bought megatons from China and supplied the technology and know how for a billion Made in China people to escape paddy fields, famine and hutongs. Appreciation, not reparation. Maybe even worship, which is what I feel for swarms of people like Irwin Jacobs, Einstein, Steve Jobs, Newton, Fourier, Alan Turing, me, Magna Carta, USA constitution, Rutherford, Donald Trump, Jay Chen, Bill Milan, my father, his father, William Winn, Julia Green, Thomas Rossiter, Charlotte Bisset, Captain Bongard, Bill Kirk, my mother, and swarming millions who created the fantastic world we now inhabit. None hassled Africans, let alone enslaved them. The great and glorious British Empire ended slavery, though USA was slow on the uptake. Maoris were still killing and eating when slavery ended in USA. Negroes are still killing in USA and voting to enslave productive people. Meanwhile nuclear war beckons. Recommendation = avoid future problems. Don't try to recompense people who died 200 years ago. The worst thing that civilization brought about is the generalization of a whole nation, or big group of people, as if not in every nation there are good people sensitive to others feeling and considerate honest with high integrity when on the other side of the spectrum, of the same nation there are brutal unscrupulous, mean, cruel, sadistic, crooks and thieves who exploit those that are weaker to withstand them. The simplification of racism, bigotry, exploitations etc. of others only point to the intellectual limitation of those recommending all sorts of exception or compensation etc., Bottom line the human race is a failed race if compared to the other creatures that we human share the planet earth. Most animals if predators are hungry then they pray for food and do not amass huge quantities of dead gazelles or sheep as an example. Herbivores mind their business on a pasture careful eat what they desire leaving enough for regrowth, and do not root out plants not to their taste, which are growing in savannahs or meadows or within forests. Certain humans in contrast as a group, do all the negative of the above and even kill for fun, skin the hides and fill the head of dead animals as a trophy or at wanton start to kill each other or enslave others for their own egoistic benefits and if Sviatoslav son of Olga Rurik is an example he used the skulls of his enemy victims as soup bowl considering it as great honor. In this regard not sure there are exception in any nation or big congregation of people what is missing badly is the correct heritage and education which teaches what is right and wrong. Therefore philosophers of all stripes since antiquity are still popular to this day My mother a Holocaust survivor who lost or many of her family were sent to Auschwitz, and my dad had deep scars on his back from hard labor camps, (I had no grandparents) made German my mother language because she wanted to proof, and she was right to say, that a bad fringe of a nation like Germany does not erase the great works of Schuman Beethoven Goethe or Heinrich Heine, Kant, Nietzsche etc., When needed a housekeeper for help she hired a gypsy woman (which whose sons I befriended) because they where shunt, even that a local housekeeper help was costing same. The same apply to almost every nation, each with its own heritage if interpreted correctly and not by extremists that all they search for is to dominate others and unfortunate there are still plenty of examples, and since history records are available, the records prove that the negative fringe of society had always the upper hand except during the stone age that democracy ruled in the various caves and settlements of hunters and gatherers. Advance in agriculture and the practice of growing crops and fruit trees turned all upside down.
