It's been a balancing act between trying to stop the spread and rolling out relatively untested drugs. If, as you say, the bulk of the people refusing to get a vaccine were in the "concerned for their health, their loved ones' health, and the health of all those taking the vaccines" camp, I would have very little problem with their choices. If the majority of people were taking all the necessary precautions to not get the virus or, worse, spread it due to shear ignorance, then I would agree with nearly everything you wrote. Unfortunately, I just can't believe, from what we've seen in the US, that the majority of people who've chosen not to get the vaccine are truly doing it out of science based knowledge of vaccines and the potential side effects to taking them.

Thanks for that post. Most of the healthcare people I talk to (that I respect) are not taking the vaccine. Doesn't mean they won't at some later date, but for now they are waiting. That said I respect those who have taken based on their right to do so and in cases where someone is truly at risk - it makes sense. Most of the medical people I talk to know some horror stories and most of them feel the complications are underreported. The mainstream media haven't been truthful the entire time during covid. Ivermectin is somehow a dirty word which gets you banned on YouTube, but I'm sure they're giving us the entire truth on the vaccine. Yet another way to divide us I guess.
