Pretty amusing to watch the primary advocate of a centrally controlled globalization directed by an self appointed and un-elected elite... touting the "suddenly arriving" impacts of a Tsunami of digitalization and disintermediation impacting every business, but also all government... as he expects the impact he predicts will somehow... NOT have that impact he predicts... on his own interest in centralizing and controlling it ? Doesn't seem "suddenly arriving" to me either, rather than "delayed forever"... He appears to think he's going to be able to use a computer to manage, essentially by central direction, an "ecosystem" of global business... because that would be "like biology" ? <rolls eyes> LOL !!! I think he's an idiot. The conflict, of course, always comes down to the simplest element... which is not in the aspect of the "efficiency" computers can enable in control through tracking whatever DATA that the brain dead bean counters worship... but: choice. And. not the illusion of it... but the fact of it... Banks... the epitome of that thinking... have resisted digital technology's inevitable impacts... the unfettered ability of consumers to exercise unhindered choice... to the last... knowing full well it makes them irrelevant... converting them from "essential to the function"... into "useless parasites"... and he, and the banks, still don't understand it... but are now forced by crypto and defi to "get in front of the parade" consisting of a herd of cats.. to TRY control it... by declaring they are staging a coup to install a computerized system of central management of... everything ? Watching him... is like watching Mike Meyers "Dr. Evil" character tout the benefits of advanced technology in (not this version of) Sharks With Frickin Laser Beams Attached To Their Heads...
