Remember, they have to report it to VAERS whether it was caused by a Covid-19 vaccine or not, so we do not know how many cases are related to the vaccine. The data could be useful to determine the numbers of estimated vaccine related cases if there was another set of data with the typical historic numbers of cases of myocarditis and pericarditis in a 6-month period in that population group. Obviously, the FDA has that set of data, and it had a statistically significant number of reactions that caused them to warn of myocarditis. We just don't know what the cut-off was to make it significant. It would have to be greater than the expected yearly variance and the margin of error.
