I normally would tell AV this stuff off line but I have to use up posts so,

I sold an S&P contract @ 1006.00 at 10 Eastern looking for a few points. My Stop is at 1010.00

Obviously the contracts trade a bit higher than the Cash.

The use of Private messages for stock messages just seemed to work out that way. I was kidding about the flames.

For my own part, I usually don't talk about individual stocks. Rather than show my ignorance in such things I pick out people who I believe may know the industry. I asked Jeff about a Y2000 stock I just bought, for example.

It just seems funny to me. The stock info is turning up "privately" and the stuff that should be "private" is public.

Anyway, the above message would have been private mostly because no one else would have a use for it. Frankly, even AV would have no use for it. I have been trying to explain, as best I can, how one trades a futures market to him (whenever I get a chance).

That's something I would not be able to do here, too time-consuming.
