Tenchu's Thoughts: You Can't Make This S--t Up
For the first time in 27 years, he won’t be running Amazon day to day. He plans a flight to space and a fight against climate change.
How much CO2 is Lex Luthor going to be dumping into the atmosphere, all for his space joyride?

(from the WSJ: What Post-CEO Life Looks Like if You’re Jeff Bezos)

Also from the article,
Mr. Bezos, the world’s richest person, has been gradually moving to an expansive post-CEO life that aside from space exploration includes a climate-focused philanthropy and an embrace of celebrity, complete with public appearances with actors and moguls, multimillion-dollar homes, globe-trotting on private jets and a soon-to-be-completed superyacht.
Wow, so this guy wants to stop the climate from changing, all the while flying all over the place hobnobbing with celebrities, living in super-wasteful cribs, flying around on private jets, and sailing in a superyacht.

GRETA IS NOT AMUSED ...

In case you aren't aware of the crime wave hitting San Francisco, Wharfie ...

KPIX5 - San Francisco Target Stores Cut Operating Hours Because Of Retail Theft Surge

That's right, instead of being open from 7 AM to 10 PM, all Target stores in San Francisco will be open from 9 AM to 6 PM.

All because there are too many shoplifters. All because the state refuses to prosecute anyone who steals less than $950 worth of goods, thanks to Prop 47.

In any case, personally I think the 6 PM closing time is a major inconvenience. I almost always do my shopping in the evening. If I had to live in the city, I'd have to go during work hours.
