We have a lot of pomegranate production here in California.
Our oldest son used to bring my wife around 25 gallons of them every year. She would painstakingly deseed them, boil the seeds, strain, etc and then make the most amazing pomegranate jelly, which on toasted sourdough french bread with a cup of coffee is the highlight of many mornings.

The last several years the local Farmer's Market and one local supermarket have been selling fresh squeezed pomegranate juice for $9.00 per pint. Life is much simpler.

Speaking of the local Farmer's Market I recently went there for the first time since the pandemic -- damn its good to have things (nearly) to business as usual.

I've never had pitahaya or granadilla
(bucket list I suppose)
