Coal has a bad future outline, but how far away is the future? Russia is not sending more gas to Europe, Australia coal is persona non grata, for now, in China... Columbia sees coal production as a way to restore its economic growth rate... who and what to believe? Believe in Supply and Demand, first, last, always. Positions by trade houses who don't own physical, obfuscate any rhetoric to win a given trade. This is just another variant of Risk on Risk off. Too many players or entities with no skin in any game, accept for beliefs about X Y or Z... These are the low hanging fruits.
