George: welcome! If you read every post on this thread for a year, and think about them critically, you will get an excellent education on AMAT, the industry, and investing in general. I've learned more here than reading the Wall Street Journal.

(End of message) ---------------------------------------------------------------- Big Bucks I wanted to thank you for the information and great call on AMAT when it went down to around 26 - I got 1 k at 27 15/16 ( this is my biggest investment so far it hit 37 today). I am fairly new to investing (only been in about 3 years) and I am learning a lot. To everyone on this thread I have received more information from this thread then anywhere else. I have the NAIC Investment course Manuel, and I am studying it. You people really know your stuff. I hope to be as good one day. I like the way everyone puts forth their beliefs and disagrees with others but explains why in a polite manner (most of the time). Thanks to all for your post they mean a lot to me, and I am sure others that are new too, but serious about investing. I am in for the long haul. Thanks !
