From first looks, the crosses on the Bollinger Bands are often too late to be actionable for short corrections of a month or less.

I think something like QOne0's observation that 80% of the time when price passes the middle band, it heads for the opposite band could be useful, as well as a trend-following system that buys or sells the middle bands, depending on the larger trend.

In order to evaluate this, you would have to mark on the chart your buy and sell points, and tell me how you use the indicators to decide these. I would look for the false negative and false positive signals in your method.
