Humor me just a moment. What did you do to fix it?

Before you jump to conclusions, one person here can later verify that I didn't think it was altered, and that I offered an explanation for it appearing the way it did. Can you tell me what you did to fix it? And is there a new copy out there we can scrutinize? I'll be able to tell very quickly if my original assertion (that it wasn't altered) is correct.
