Hi David,
I always go back to sector rotation.
Weeks ago, I mentioned the sector oil services, had reversed up meaning demand was coming back in. At that time it seemed unbelievable to folks because things were so washed out and volatile. Now it is steadying and we are seeing upswings in oil services. This is the way it goes. We have not only a rally, but a sector that is gaining strength.
As for techs, Semi's reversed up over a month ago, Computers have just reversed up and software lead the pack a couple of months ago. They all reversed up from under 40% which gives them excellent field position.
The NYSE bullish percent just reversed up as well as the optional bullish percent.
What does all that mean. Simply, we have a rally. There will be pullbacks in stocks to take advantage of but the trend is upward now.
One still needs to be prudent with investment decisions and always check the FA.
We are looking pretty good as far as technicals are concerned.

Enjoy the ride,

Jan
