The Association will further convey that in teaching these topics, it is reasonable and appropriate for curriculum to be informed by academic frameworks for understanding and interpreting the impact of the past on current society, including critical race theory. ra.nea.org
Not the same thing as teaching CRT. Note that your source's quote quit at "appropriate" and paraphrased the the rest of the sentence, what was appropriate, through paraphrase changing the meaning.

This is what the NEA had to say about what it would actually teach:

...support for the accurate and honest teaching of social studies topics, including truthful and age-appropriate accountings of unpleasant aspects of American history...

It is pretty clear the UNIONS (as I previously indicated) are driving this curriculum change to teach this garbage false history.

You can deny until they're drilling 3rd graders with it if you choose.
