Whether it is or not is besides the point. The point is that the wingnut echo chamber is pushing that idea. And that over-rides reality. That is what disgusts me the most about today's Republicans, they've discovered that they do better with their moronic followers the more they lie, especially if they get hysterically angry over their own lies. These are very dangerous times, dishonesty leads nowhere good, and it's become a modus operandi for the right.
