Read Replies (1) | Respond to of 362509 lol- you are kind of the poster child for racism. Some of your "best neighbors" were black. Your dad called black Americans the N word but was a hell-of-a-guy. No wonder you like the myth of the nice slave owner- you want to think the systemic racism your family participated in was okee dokey. Well it wasn't. And black people wouldn't tell you it wasn't because they were afraid, and you are too clueless and too lacking in empathy to see that. I'd pity you, but you've done a lot of damage in the world and you'd like to do more. CRT isn't about HATE. Your post is about hate- and fear. You are afraid that if the truth is known black people will be so angry they will hunt you down and kill you, or spit on your grandkids, or in your food. And you hate anyone who wants to tell the truth. That's not the way it works. A lot of black folks hate you now- though they won't tell you. But if we move forward, and admit the truth, and teach our kids to be SORRY for the way this country acted- nor personally sorry for what they did (unless they are little KKK bitches, like the folks in your family probably are) but sorry for the way this country abused and marginalized black people. How this country slammed the door in the faces of black children, college students, GI's, people in the workforce- hell, everyone. Saying we are sorry, admitting our missteps, is part of atonement. If you know anything about religion, you know that the first step in being forgive is ADMITTING you were wrong, and curing the wrong. You just want to sweep it under the carpet and keep on being an asshole. NO. No one is going to want to shuck and jive to that any more- except for other racist twats.
