I noted it here, before it happened... with a prediction: that the vaccines they have do nothing to stop infections... but only minimize symptoms... has obvious implications in the result, when you pretend the jab provides immunity... and tell people it does... when it does not.

So, what you see happening is exactly what you should expect to see happen... when you tell people getting the vaccine means they are protected... when they are not. And, an acceleration in transmission being paired with an acceleration in the rate of mutation is exactly what we do see.. as expected... entirely driven by public policy enabling it...

I don't see evidence the new variant is a unique problem... but, did hear a particularly egregious abuse of the facts presented by media talking heads today... in which they tried to claim the jab is proven more critical to safety, now, and even more so with the new variant... by conflating lower mortality rates in places with high rates of immunization as a proof of vaccine effectiveness... while ignoring that places with high rates of immunization tend to have quality health care access... with that being what is preventing people dying in those places... while places without the ability even to obtain much less create vaccines... tend to not have quality health care options... and more people who get the bug will be dying in those places... jab or no...
