Natural oddities aside, tolerance doesn't necessarily require approval.In principle what isn't my business is none of my business. But they keep making it my business through legislation. The stix and hammers guy has a relatively short (for him) video out today addressing the California spa issue and the state of "who am I anyway" issue which pretty much covers the ground IMO.
