What's getting more expensive by the day? Airlines are uniquely constrained temporarily because their pilots were not flying for so long they require a lot of simulator hours before they can fly again. And there's similar situations in most business sectors. Commodities will follow the price of lumber, which continues to fall rapidly from its peak, as supply idled during the pandemic comes back online. During this temporary price-rise loggers and tree owners have been paid less than they were pre-pandemic. The constraint was in the processing and plywood manufacturing sector with many plants shut down.
