With CSCO I would not be too myopic.

You say growth over the last five quarters has been shy of 30%. So what?

Over the last eight years CSCO has increased in value by 1,650%

With all that lies ahead of CSCO and this industry - I think that over an "appropriate" time frame CSCO will grow at sustained rates of 30%+ If all you can focus on is your charts and the last five quarters then you are missing the strengths of this company.

You may wish to do some Fundamental Analysis. I think it would provide you with a greater appreciation of what is happening.

The people you are referring to might not have backtracked, but C$CO hasn't grown 30% in the last few quarters. Neither has the networking industry. C$CO had sales and EPS gains of only 26 1/2% this last quarter. How is that 30%?

Have you ever heard the phrase "individuals may be wrong but the market is always right"?
