I don't follow your reasoning there. Let's just say that I am open to being criticized and questioned. I have had no problem posting on conservative threads in the past and have actually learned a few things from doing so. Sure, I eventually got banned from those threads because they had no real interest in dialogue like the pseudo liberal threads you post on. But I am vehemently opposed to closing myself off from those who have different views than I do. Not only do I sometimes look for common ground, but I like to hear the objections and reasoning behind them. I rarely get offended on this thread. The people here are passionate about their beliefs. There will always be a few social misfits on any thread. I am not looking for safe and cozy on SI. I am looking to learn. So, sometimes I enter into division and conflict. I do that with my wife once in a while also to spice up things and learn. My point in part is that I have found the liberal and conservative threads on SI to be essentially the same as far as being closed in spirit and temperament.
