ROFL- you should have heard what my children learned in Scottish schools. BOY they hated us for being such piss poor cowards and letting Hitler run all over Europe. Also, they hated Bush. They really hated a lot about 'Murrica- and it was fun for my kids to be in a school that had the same opinion as their parents. The teacher would forget sometimes that my kids were 'Murrican, and my kids would say, "No problem, we agree with you." My oldest watched Fahrenheit 9/11 in her Scottish history class.
