Sad to see that level of prejudice from Jack-o'-lantern. If Jack-o'-lantern was a Christian would he be a claim, blame and shame one? Or perhaps a couch Christian hoping to float to heaven with a big bag of Doritos on Judgement Day like Brumar.

Actually I agree with that DIRECT LINE COMPLETELY... .. the idea that God dispenses special favours willy nilly is my issue... Not all prayers are answers.. certainly not all of mine.. and NO I DID NOT WISH for a winning lottery ticket.. was for someone's life.. taken too early Our concept of God is at issue maybe,,, but not the efficacy of prayer... direct line yes.. all answered no... There is a reason the positive thinking and visualisation work.... I have posted many a time.. God is a good idea.. but religion not so much... Some folks say it is only God they buy yet adhere to arcane customs of the religion of their birth... I for example go when troubled to Catholic mass.. sure as spot the gospel always seems to be relevant.. fluke ? maybe :) Am I religious ? NO.. Do not buy into all the extras... but a good fable is a good fable...makes one think... but have been labelled religious by some on SI... not just RB :)
