If you buy the warrant, you are entitled to buy the stock from LGND, if you turn in to them your warrant and $7.12. If you paid $6.00 for the warrant & gave that warrant plus $7.12 to the co. in return for LGND stock, your net cost of said LGND stock would amount to $13.12. You do not have to buy the stock from LGND for $7.12. You have the right to do so on any day from now until June 3, 2000. Bernie.
