What happened to polio .. it vanished on its own ?

none is not right :)

yet I see even self declared left wingers (God fearing to boot a dichotomy LOL) not believing in vax..

Americans... a true conundrum...

I hope for a true pandemic... with no vax... we are far too many for he planet and terribly poor stewards.. We humans are a pox on the planet... Nature will overcome :)

<< have no difficulty understanding how smart folks do not get vaccine science... because... its complicated... and most people don't have the tools or the education to understand it. So, you trust "experts"... ? The puzzle isn't that smart people don't understand it... but that smart people who don't understand it... PRETEND that they do... while insisting they're right... about something they really know next to nothing about...

Where does that behavior come from ? >>

The behaviour,,,,,, comes from experience.

When I was a child,6 or 7 neither smart nor dumb I was vaccinated for polio,

Joe Hanton was not.

Joe Hanton spent months in an iron lung,, walked with a brace for years , and a limp for the rest of his life.

Some might say Joe was “” lucky “ he avoided the wheelchair.

I think we all know what smart, dumb , lucky, unlucky Joe might do today.
