I was looking for a specific instance -- not of untruth -- but where you personally trusted some information given you by mainstream news and later found it to be factually false. Something significant?

Has it ever happened to you -- that you can remember?

FNC, CNN and MSNBC should be renamed FOpEdN, COpEdN and MOpEdBC

They're about 95% op-ed and 5% news, if you're lucky. They're all echo chambers - although 2 of them at least try to have a modicum of journalistic integrity.

Think I'll start LNN......Lou's News Network. 100% news, no op-ed. Anchors will be wired up to a large capacitor that will administer a short sharp shock if they even try to offer opinion or commentary. Sort of like how the BBC was back in the 70s.....present the news and form your own opinions. Only non-news show will be late Saturdays I'll air "Your week in weed"......Trends, friends and new strains.

<both of these entertainers >

Open IPad, read the Wall Street Journal. Turn on the TV, listen to Rachel at the same time. I don’t believe it happened till they both say it did.
