I used to work with a bunch of Ukranians in the 90s. There was also one Russian guy in our group and the Ukranians used to razz him constantly. One day one of the Ukranians asked me if I'd go up to him and tell him "yup t'vai maht" (have no idea if it's the right spelling but that's how it sounds phonetically). I knew it couldn't be good but always being up for a good laugh I said why the hell not. So anyway, I shout from across the lab......"Hey Igor, yup t'vai maht". Igor looked in shock and then bust out laughing so hard and the Ukranians were almost in tears. Long story short - "maht" is "mother" so I'll let you connect the dots...LOL. I loved working with those Ukranian dudes - very cool folks but corrupt as bejesus.
