Well, ok, if you put it like that! ;-) ETA of November-December.

Have owned a few Sinn over the years and still have a vintage (guessing 1970s) dive watch. The one I wore most was a 756 UTC, cool tool watch with classic 7750 Valjoux automatic movement and its wobble.

The original company that did the hardened steel for Sinn in its 756 and other models had a falling out and ended up making watches on its own. A while back I caught a deal on one, basically a copy of the Sinn 756 but no UTC, in this case a white dial that is all lume and the reason I bought. Price was right and wanted to spend some time with a lume dial. Still have the watch but rarely wear it, would likely be on sell list for no fault of its own. At the time I'd say Damasko was 85-90% of the build quality of Sinn at a decently lower price point. I haven't checked recently or if still in business. Sinn keeps marching along.

I guess I am a sucker for MOP dials but am curious how black MOP will look on a PVD dive watch. At least the case dimensions look appropriate. My first truly fancy watch that I ever bought for myself is listed at the bottom, think it was 2003. Lange L1 Soiree. Not my pictures.

Forget if ever posted my other two Lange. The L1 stealth has factory original blued hands, and a platinum deployant buckle. It was a limited edition, maybe 20-30, ordered by the son of a Cellini owner round Y2K. Sold the 2003 Soiree to buy it in 2004 because it is much rarer and more... well, stealth. I usually wear mine on a blue strap as shown in the pics. Stealth wealth and perhaps the most egotistical watch you can ever own. Just pure delight to wear and few will ever recognize it compared to almost any pedestrian yellow gold watch!

The RG 1st generation Datograph I bought for myself for a birthday 13 years ago. Awesome watch and barely worn. It was a good deal but in hindsight bought for the wrong reasons. If you know anyone interested I'd sell for a fair price. Mine came on black strap and Tang buckle, I also have the optional deployant buckle.

These are not my pictures, most of my watch pics are on another PC and have limited internet access now. Still have to dig out my AP quantieme perpetual pics, all platinum case, dial and hands, with an engraved rose gold movement. Among the smallest and arguably the most beautiful piece of art I've ever owned.

The Sinn finally arrived the other week. Haven't had time to take pictures but wore it for a weekend trip. The case wears thinner and smaller than its dimensions which is a pleasant surprise for its WR compared to some of the Tuna Cans, if you know what mean. Not that there's anything wrong with that!

There was a three month delivery delay. I also bought a black rubber band with deployant buckle to go along and it looks very nice and will switch to that. A sharp purple or indigo rubber strap would be nicer to pull out the MOP colors but I know custom order places for work like that if truly needed.

The pictures in first link are closer to what my eyes see. Huge premium for the MOP dial, but still a very nice timepiece and now one of the fancier German tool watches!
