Typically the BPNDX is overbought whenever it is over 70 and oversold below 30. The numbers can run much higher during the early stages of a bull market. Conversely they can go much lower during a bear market which has always proven the best time to buy.

While every day offers another buying opportunity it's a lot easier to make a great buy when the BPNDX has sold off hard then when it is trending higher amidst overly bullish sentiment.
