Capital punishment does not make murderers heroes in jail. They are the least notable of inmates in the prison system. It is the savage murderers that get life or less that are feared and at times respected by the other inmates. The men under a death sentenced are considered dead. No interaction with the population. To a degree they are considered losers as the others have more time on the clock.
