I do not know the exact sciences, but a filtration of (>95%) up to (>98%) for .1nm combined with this "pull" behaviour of the compound.. You may have misjudged the product. Beyond that, N95 masks are designed to be effective when the whole class is wearing them, as to prevent exhalation of pathogen particles from ever entering the local atmosphere. Generally I think it is accepted they are not completely effective at individual protection, but that is what N99 and N100 masks are for.. complete air seal to prevent even atmospheric pollution from affecting the wearer which ZEN does not benefit from I dont think. You might be better off with a full headmask if you want best protection but you gotta consider the wearer.. Not everyone wants a full frontal face covering so the lightest "most effective option" will be ultimately wider adopted outside of professional medical care even if it doesn't come with an air seal. I am biased though, as a shareholder of ZEN so don't listen to me if you think otherwise
