<<December 27, 1996, 4:00 p.m. PT

Connect America and Franklin Internet, a division
of Franklin Telecom, will offer 800 number Internet
access for a flat rate of $30 per month beginning
January 1. Businesses will be eligible for ISDN 800
lines.

Isn't that SOMETHING!!!!!! Another one!!!!>>

Citi, as you know, FTEL is being sued by ATT over the use of the some 1-800 numbers gotten at extremely low prices. Is FTEL still offering the 800 number internet access for a flat rate of $ 30, since FTEL is no longer getting that great deal from the 800 number provider? I'm not asking this to be a wise guy. I was just wondering since it wasn't clear to me that FTEL could still offer such low deals.

There was a fed filing today. Does anyone know what it said? I was wondering if that had something to do with today's drop, but I really don't know.

I won't be back until the weekend, so don't expect any posts until I return.

FTEL: $ 4.69 $ 4.78a vol 158,000 (seems high)
