I don't watch CNBC at all or any other financial news network. It's their job to create chaos because chaos attracts viewers. I don't look at my brokerage account on a daily basis and when things are really hectic, I'll turn the computer off altogether. There comes a time when you simply have to trust the research you've done and if you haven't done a proper job then you need to determine what you did wrong and correct it.
