Cyrix and Intel law suit settlement: biz.yahoo.com

Does anyone really think this will be negative for AMD? As of 10 minutes ago I am a proud owner of a bunch of AMD shares at $20.25/shr (wished I had waited 5 more minutes before this news came out since I could have bought it cheaper! But its ok).

Anyway, does anyone think Cyrix will have an advantage over AMD after this patent settlement with Intel? My fiends who work at Intel are telling me that these days all they hear from their senior managements is how Intel can compete better with AMD (they do not mention any other name). The impression they are getting from their senior management is that they are a bit worried about AMD. I have no idea how this will play in the short term but certainly it proves to be the case Intel views AMD as its only competitor.
