*ALL* I emailed Jack Arnold yesterday to thank him for keeping us up-to-date on the merger development. I think the news release was made in response to the numerous phone calls and email Jack Arnold was getting from shareholders. I personally appreciate the fact that he went ahead with the PR even though he doesn't have much to say at this point, I am sure he is working overtime on this. The merger is not yet finalized, and discussing any details would be premature. I asked him about the Reg S situation, and this is what he said:

"We have not yet found someone to buy out the Reg. S holders' position. We are still hopeful this can be accomplished, but it will be a photo finish if we can. Our main thrust at this point is to procure capitalization for all future needs through private sources and we are in contact with individuals and groups who are more than capable of supplying the needed funds."

I also pointed out the strange trading pattern we've been seeing recently. He responded:

"I am aware of the unusual trading pattern today, but I do not know the reason why. Possibly the MM's were at odds with each other over whether to raise the bid/ask. This may have allowed some trades to be accepted between the bid and ask, though I cannot imagine that many shares trading at precisely that price."

It is now a waiting game. (I have my buy orders sitting there, too :)
