the stock starts a nice run up, you come on the thread, and
the wheels fall off.
i get a chill.

i understand what you're doing though with the straddle.
i buy deep-in-the-money calls on split announcements to hedge
against anything i'm holding that approaches its 10 DMA.
MSQDY is carrying the flag right now.
Dell is next.

Those firms could have been hedging against long positions by buying puts.....just like you.

Are these March puts?

Also, could you tell me who the principal MMs are.
