Did not expect to find on Bloomberg, for China is one domain MSM is not reporting on in so far as good news is concerned, so did search, and the side effects of CoronaVac seem tolerable medicalnewstoday.com

I do not know what to believe but do know by direct report of friends and family that life, other than flash testing / isolation of traced infected contacts in event of occasional new cases, masking, and (mostly voluntary except in isolated circumstances where local authorities overstepped authority) vaccination, life is normal

globaltimes.cn
China's top health authority rectify local mandatory vaccination orders, stressing voluntary principle

Fingers crossed that the situation does not deteriorate. Caveat, numbers not adjusted for possible CCP reporting, but yes, folks are working, going to restaurants, etc etc and domestic retail is up, and electricity usage high, and airports domestic sections are full.

My wife and I and my friend all received the Pfizer vaccine with mild side effects. The concern here is that my friend was vaccinated in april and now 3 months later has contracted the virus.
