Curly,
How do you come up with a fair value at $60 with trailing EPS at $0.86 and estimated next 4 Quarters EPS at $0.40 to $0.50?

Just curious what multiples and estimates you're basing this valuation on.

I'm sorry... but I'm not seeing a beautiful CYMER sunset right now.

I'm happy for the current price increase. It makes my account look better but I'm expect a few DARK clouds soon.

I've been a big bull for Cymer and I'm very positive on the long-term outlook.

I don't get too excited when earning estimate for 1998 are $.40-.60 and the stock is trading near $20 = 33-55 p/e ratio. I think the estimates are low but I see a Cymer price of $15 sometime. I'm not going to get excited right now, I'll just enjoy it. It's going to take Asia and Tech companies sometime to get DUV REALLY ROLLING $$$.

The Cymer float is probably closer to 20 million than 10, and 4 million short shares is really not much when the volume lately is 1-3 million. There's no panick for shares to cover etc..

I don't buy MM manipulation at this level or short squeezes with floats over 10 million etc.. It's nice to have a high short position to move stocks but it doesn't take long to cover. They will take advantage of higher prices to short again. I believe alot of the recent tech advances (overall) has to do with short position etc..

I bought shares at $14.8 recently and I haven't sold them. I'm going to continue to purchase shares this year and I'll buy more Cymer soon when the profit taking occurs. I want the lowest average price possible for 1998-1999 profits (Cymer at $40+)

I'm sorry if my opinion is not as cheery as others but I will voice what I feel without bias...even if it's to myself :-)

Cheers to Cymer and the Tech stocks!

Aloha
