Dirk, thanks. Looks like it's time for me to bone up on Javascript. If you've got a favorite book reference (for an aging programmer who don't know squat about Java) I'd appreciate your recommendation. I'm already running a W95 peer-to-peer (Linksys "Network Starter Kit") between my p5-90-180mmx (my notation for a Pentium 90 upgraded to a 180mmx) and p5-166. So I guess Wingate (or a hardware router with the right features) is the missing piece for sharing the modem connection. A local ISP finally set up a 56k POP, so I may have to get that hardware asap.
